Tetradecylthioacetic Acid (TTA) is classed as a PPAR-alpha activator, in that it actively releases fat from cells for the utilisation as fuel for energy production. In studies to-date, TTA is quoted as being effective in moving fat from the blood in to muscle or the liver and thereby being used as energy. Documented research also suggests that TTA prevents insulin resistance and is beneficial in supporting dietary-induced insulin resistance repair.
