L-Leucine is an activator of the m-TOR pathway, which induces muscle protein synthesis. TOR, or mammalian TOR (mTOR) is a protein complex that serves a pivotal role in regulating cellular signalling, thereby aiding lean muscle mass growth and maintenance.
L- Leucine initiates a process known as leucine oxidisation, increasing the up-regulating of a number of processes that published studies suggest to be of benefit to athletes from all types of sports.
Directions For Use: Mix 5g (2 scoops) with 250ml of water. Sugar free cordial may be added to flavour.
Take 5g (2 scoops) 3 times daily in-between meals. L-Leucine is also beneficial post training and pre-bedtime. If adding to a post workout shake adjust serving size to suit L-Leucine that is already provided by your shake to make 5g in total. If a minimum of 5g is already present in your shake, there is no further need to add more L-Leucine.
