Caffeine is a potent stimulant that when used correctly can aid in increasing physical performance and stamina. Studies have shown caffeine taken prior to execise exhibits a glycogen sparing effect in the early stages (approximately the first 15 minutes) of physical exercise, potentially providing more fat for the body to utilise as fuel during training or competition.
Caffeine can also be used to combat tiredness during periods of temporary fatigue and is regularly used in fat-loss protocols.

Advisory Note: Caffeine and Drug Tested Athletes:
Although different sporting organisations have differing stances on caffeine use in sport, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) currently lists caffeine as a restricted drug. Urinary concentration levels of up to 12 mg/ltr are acceptable, suggesting normal/casual use. Levels above this could be viewed as a deliberate attempt at 'doping' by the athlete. Approximately 1000mg of caffeine (about 8 cups of coffee or 5 Genetic Supplements Caffeine Capsules) would be required to exceed the current IOC limit, but it is very important to note that people metabolise caffeine at vastly different speeds. Differences in personal metabolism and some medications may significantly alter the rate in which caffeine is cleared from the body. Some athletes have come close to failing the drug test after ingesting only 350mg. We suggest this is taken in to consideration and/or check with your particular sport's governing body prior to using caffeine as an ergogenic aid if you are a drug tested athlete.
Directions For Use: Take one capsule 40-60 minutes prior to training or physical activity. One capsule may be taken during periods of temporary fatigue.
